The Literary Piano was founded by writer/musician Mimi Manyin. Mimi is a professional pianist, writer, and editor based in Boston, MA. She is a classically trained musician and has been a special event pianist for over a decade. Mimi also has an MFA in creative writing and is a guest editor at The Masters Review. Her work has been published in Ploughshares, Witness, Michigan Quarterly Review, Meridian, Greensboro Review, and more. Mimi enjoys hosting Silent Reading Parties and Silent Writing Parties where she improvises on the piano to promote the love of reading and music.
